At the local 'Chippie'!

Still on the road. We found our way down to the corner chippie.......minus the newspaper, we ate in the shop!

I got my fill of fish-n-chips last night. Don't you just love the mushy peas! Not everyone has a taste for them!

The 'grease' quota for the month has been filled!

Yum, yours look far better than mine. It's true that having a professional fryer helps to get the right crispy fish.

For the mushy peas, the mother of my boyfriend who's scottish loved Jamie's mushy peas whereas she used to hate them.

My whole family are on holiday n Cornwall right now where you get the best pasties and fish and chips.

Now you are making me wish more than ever I could be with them.

Like others, we lived in England too, for a few years when I was growing up. I sorely miss the Fish & Chips! I love Mushy Peas too, but didn't discover them until last year in NYC - go figure!

Hey Guys! I'm amazed that so many of you have spent some time in your life in the UK!

Needless to say, I didn't have a Pastie....seems I had one a few years ago and it is still sitting in my stomach!! Heavy! It wasn't in Cornwall.
Sam--the August issue of 'Delicious' has an article on Cornish Pasties!

Thanks for taking a gander!

Grease is good for your hair (or is it the dogs coat?).

unless you like that look!
Try some mayo next time, for a good conditioner.....
